  1. I like the texture your piece. Your piece has a hardness and softness to it. I think your strongest area is the lower area of your piece. I admire the colors that were used. The only thing where you need improvement, is the top area of the piece;I Iike the softness but I think it is too soft need some definition to give it some" unuff". When I look at your piece, it reminds me of a gum ball machine on the sea.

  2. The colors are very standout. They pull the objects off of the page. I love how abstract it is. The negative space brings out the shapes. There are also very good textures here. The color and textures drag your eyes around the page. Really good composition.

I love the color, but I feel like when you printed out the image it looked a lot darker, and I think that took away from it. I enjoy looking at this image on screen more so than the print out. It's also a little hard to tell what your pictures are of. I don't know if that is a bad thing or not. Other than that I think this is great!

  3. I really like the use of color in this piece. It kind of brightens me up a little. I liked the use of the fading of the object in the middle right of the image. I also like the use of texture in the piece, it kinds it more "umph" so to say.

The only negative is that I wish it was more vibrant, I do not like that it got so dark in the top left.

  4. I love the color and texture in your work. I also am drawn to the repetition of the cured forms from the balls to the curves in the rock and the round organic forms. I am able to travel around the piece easily without getting stuck on any one part, but rather continue around the circle. The overall composition is very circular which is enhanced with the round forms in the piece.
On screen, all of this really comes to life. Your printed version however, is a little dark. Some of the wonderful detail is lost. I would love to see more of what is seen on the screen in your print. There is an illusion of depth as the balls travel back into the image that could either be enhanced, so that the idea of grounds becomes more important, or somehow taken away so that it becomes more two-dimensional. Right now, it is floating sort of in between the two and I'm not sure what to do with that.
Overall, a beautiful piece full of wonderful color and texture though!
